Dominique Diggs

Director of Human Resources and Equity Initiatives

Dominique Diggs (she/her) is the Director of Human Resources and Equity Initiatives at The Lawyering Project. With over seven years of experience cultivating diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces, she is a self-proclaimed People, Culture and Community nerd. Her expertise in strategic human resources frameworks offer a unique blend of skills crucial for organizational growth and development.  

Previously, Dominique served as Director of People and Culture at Latinos for Education, leading a team of over 30 employees and overseeing all aspects of human resources and workplace culture. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to talent development, performance management, and employee engagement. Dominique’s expertise in strategic human resources frameworks equips her to provide consistent and actionable thought partnership to organizational leaders, ensuring their decisions are informed by a talent-centric and results-oriented approach. 

Dominique is also deeply passionate about fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace, and leverages her skills and credentials in DEI to cultivate a collaborative and high-performing organizational culture.  She graduated from Howard University with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Afro-American Studies and she resides in Washington, DC with her mini goldendoodle. Outside of work, Dominique enjoys listening to podcasts and audiobooks, trying new restaurants, traveling with friends, listening to live music and going on scenic walks with her puppy.
