Allison Zimmer (she/her/hers) is Litigation Counsel. Previously, she served as a Skadden Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights, where she provided representation to students with disabilities in the juvenile justice system and litigated systemic education and youth prison conditions cases. Allison clerked for Judge Stephen A. Higginson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and for Judge Allyne R. Ross on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Brown University, and a J.D., summa cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where she was an Arthur Garfield Hays Civil Liberties Fellow.
Allison is licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
