Legal Internship – Academic Year
The Lawyering Project will consider applications from students seeking to satisfy an academic or service requirement by serving as a legal intern during the academic year. (Summer intern positions are posted separately on the Lawyering Project’s Careers page.) Such applications will be considered on a rolling basis, based on the quality of the application, our staffing needs, and our capacity to provide adequate supervision. We may not accept student placements every semester. All academic year internships are remote, and we do not offer funding for these positions. Full-time interns are preferred.
To apply, please email a cover letter, resume, legal writing sample, and list of two references to jobs@lawyeringproject.org. In your cover letter, please highlight your interest in working at the Lawyering Project, any relevant experience, your proposed start and end dates, the number of hours per week you are available to work, and whether you are seeking placement to complete a specific project. Please also include in your cover letter a personal statement that describes the identities, perspectives, and experiences that you would bring to the Lawyering Project that are important to you and/or relevant to our work.
If you are a law student committed to reproductive health, rights, and justice and looking to work alongside a dynamic team, we encourage you to submit an application.
