Access & Innovation Program
The Access & Innovation Program provides free legal advice and technical assistance to individuals and organizations working to advance reproductive health, rights, and justice. Our clients include healthcare providers, abortion funds, practical support organizations, abortion advocacy organizations, and researchers. Our goal is to expand access to reproductive healthcare and promote innovation in service delivery by helping those on the frontlines understand their rights, mitigate their legal risks, and operate to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The A&I Program houses two initiatives: the General Counsel Program and Reproductive Health Law Advising.
The General Counsel Program advises clients on matters related to general business operations, such as corporate structure and governance; tax law; employment law; and nonprofit regulation, including lobbying and political activity. We provide the kind of legal support that an in-house general counsel would typically provide. More information – including how to request assistance – can be found here.
Reproductive Health Law Advising advises clients on matters related to the regulation of abortion, contraception, and other reproductive health services. More information can be found here.
